Update 06/08/2024

Good news! Everything has finally come together, and we are all set to begin treatments. We received word on 6/7/24 that our state permit was approved, and LakePro (the treatment company) has scheduled our first treatment on Tuesday, June 11th.

As a reminder, the total cost for a full season of treatments is $5,644.08 (LakePro Quote). To cover the treatments and some startup expenses, our hope is that each household directly on Twin Islands Pond will be able to contribute a suggested amount of $500 for the full season of treatments. Additionally, we are requesting that households not directly on the pond, who want to be part of this valuable effort, contribute $250 (or whatever you feel comfortable with). Some residents have asked how to pay. Currently, we are only accepting checks, but we are working to add Zelle and PayPal as electronic payment methods. But, for the moment:

• Write a check payable to “The Friends of Stonebridge Ponds” and drop it off at the home of either Dave Hartmann or George Crane (see email for addresses)

We would also like to welcome Georgiana Siehl, who has kindly accepted the position of Communications Director. We really appreciate her stepping forward to be part of the effort. Thank you, Georgiana.
